What is a reader?

A person who views a base, an interface or a portal without changing the data. Readers and commenters are free on every plan, in unlimited numbers.

Who counts as an editor?

Admins and Users: anyone who can create or change records. You change a member's role at any time in the settings, and the bill follows pro rata.

What happens if I reach a limit?

You get a warning at 80%. Beyond that, new records and new files are blocked, with no data loss or suspension, until you upgrade to Pro or add a storage pack. Automation runs beyond the cap are refused until the following month, never billed.

Can I change plan at any time?

Yes. The Pro subscription is monthly and can be cancelled from the payment portal; seats added or removed are charged pro rata.

Can I have several free workspaces?

No: each account can create one Free workspace. Further workspaces are on Pro, since the subscription is taken per workspace. Being invited to someone else’s workspace does not count.

Is there a price for nonprofits?

The Free plan has no time limit: 2 editors and as many readers as you need, so many nonprofits have nothing to pay. On Pro, only the committee members who change the data are billed.

Are prices excluding VAT?

Yes. VAT is calculated at checkout according to your country and VAT number, with reverse charge for businesses in the European Union.

Where is my data hosted?

In the European Union, on every plan, with Hostinger International, a Cypriot host. Rangee is a French company: neither the publisher nor the host of your bases falls under the Cloud Act. Payment goes through Stripe, an American group, which handles only your billing details.
